This has to be the most interesting Thanksgiving Day Race yet! Starting on a looped course at the Museum of the Rockies, this Thanksgiving Day Run boasts the added motivation of a dinosaur chasing you down the course. (Don't ask - I have no idea) The race directors have expanded the age categories so more prizes are awarded to those who "smoke the turkey" and they even have fitted women's t-shirts for female participants (a huge bonus in my book!). Volunteers even get the good shirts (fitted micro-fiber t's) and are entered to win a prize for helping out at the event. This event is walker-friendly and the finish line will be worth it as it features a live performance by the Bridger Creek Boys. This event benefits the Gallatin Valley Food Bank and last year, they raised $21,600!
